Resurface • Renew • Rebuild Collagen

Fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing is an advanced skin-renewal treatment designed to improve skin texture, acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, sun damage and signs of aging.

Unlike treatments that work primarily by heating the deeper skin, the CO₂ laser creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones while leaving surrounding areas of skin intact to support the healing process.

How It Works

The 10,600 nm CO₂ laser energy is strongly absorbed by water within the skin, creating controlled microscopic columns of ablation and thermal stimulation.

This controlled resurfacing response removes damaged surface tissue while stimulating the body's natural healing process and collagen remodeling.

As the skin heals and new collagen develops, the skin can gradually appear smoother, firmer and more even in texture.

CO₂ Laser Can Help Improve:

  • Acne scars and post-acne texture

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Enlarged pores

  • Rough or uneven skin texture

  • Sun-damaged skin

  • Uneven pigmentation

  • Skin laxity and overall firmness

  • Dull or aging skin

Why Fractional?

Fractional technology treats only microscopic portions of the skin at a time rather than removing the entire surface.

The untreated skin surrounding each microscopic treatment zone helps support healing while still allowing us to achieve significant resurfacing and collagen stimulation.

What to Expect

Fractional CO₂ is a more intensive treatment than a traditional facial, RF skin tightening or non-ablative laser rejuvenation. Redness, swelling, sensitivity, peeling, crusting and several days of visible healing can occur.

Improvements continue beyond the initial healing period as collagen gradually remodels.

The intensity and number of treatments are individualized according to your skin type, concern, treatment area and desired results.

Consultation Required

Fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing is not appropriate for every skin type or every pigmentation concern. A consultation and skin assessment are required to determine whether CO₂ resurfacing is appropriate for you and to discuss expected downtime, risks, aftercare and alternative treatments.

Individual results and recovery times vary.

FAQ

Is the treatment painful?

The wound surface of the fractional mode is small, and the discomfort can be greatly reduced by surface anesthesia or cold wind.

How long will it take to see improvement after the treatment?

Usually, your private areas can be more tightened in 2-3 weeks after private care treatment; the skin texture will be improved after 1 skincare treatment, and 3-5 treatments are best for excellent results.

Will it darken or leave scars?

Moisturizing your skin and wearing sunscreen after treatment can significantly reduce the risk of PIH, and the minimally invasive treatment of fractional CO₂ is less likely to produce scars.

Is the equipment maintenance complicated?

The air-cooled system eliminates the need for water maintenance. Just clean the optical arm lens after each use and properly store the blade.

Working Principle

The ReFrax utilizes a radiofrequency excited metal CO₂ laser emitting at a wavelength of 10.6 μm to deliver fractional micro-beams through an optical guide arm. The ReFrax fractionally delivers controlled laser energy. It facilitates better retention of undamaged skin while enabling effective energy delivery without excessively damaging the surrounding area.

The fractional micro-beams emitted from ReFrax are absorbed by water in the skin and transformed into heat energy. This creates minute micro-ablation areas, boosting natural skin renewal. In time, this system can enhance the appearance of coarse skin texture, large pores, fine wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, revealing smoother, tighter, and rejuvenated skin.
